Robert graduated cum laude from Southern Connecticut State University
in New Haven, Connecticut, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political
Science with a minor in Mathematics, in 1978. Robert went on to
Southen Methodist University School of Law, Dallas, Texas, where he
received a Juris Doctor degree in 1985. He became a member of the
California State Bar in 1989.
Robert pursues dual careers in law and aviation. Robert soloed at the
age of 16. He flies Second-in-Command in jet aircraft for Part 135
charter flights. He is type rated in CE-500 and CE-680 aircraft and is a
Certified Flight Instructor: airplane single and multi-engine and is a CFII.
He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and has logged over 3,500
hours including more than 600 hours jet time.
