Lisa obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
from California State University, Northridge, in 1983. Lisa obtained her
Juris Doctor degree from LaVerne University School of Law in Los
Angeles in 1986. Upon passing the California bar examination, she
began her legal practice the next year before joining Jacobs and
Associates in 1995. Coming over to Michaelis, Montanari & Johnson
during the firm merger in 2008, Lisa has significant experience in civil
litigation including aviation, insurance law, construction defect and
products liability.
Lisa is a member of the United States District Court for the Eastern
District of California. Also a flying enthusiast, she has a single engine land
private pilot certificate.
